Bala day one box office collection

Bala box office collection: Ayushmann Khurrana and Bhumi Pednekar starrer is expected to have a good start at the box office.

“Ayushmann’s films have good tracking. He tries to tap into unconventional cinema and break taboos. Also, Bhumi is a fine, talented actor and she also does meaningful cinema.

Ayushmann Khurrana, Bhumi Pednekar and Yami Gautam starrer Bala hits the screens on Friday. The film has been embroiled in controversy for its similarity with Sunny Singh starrer Ujda Chaman. Both films deal with premature balding. But film trade analyst Girish Johar believes movie buffs will still be interested in Bala courtesy Khurrana’s goodwill among the audience

Thus, I am expecting a good start for Bala at the box office. The film has a fantastic pre-release buzz. The way they have promoted it is quite good. If it works well, I think this will be the 7th consecutive hit of Ayushmann,” Girish told

Decoding the actor’s successful run at the ticket counters, Girish Johar said, “Ayushmann is doing desi stories which connect with the mass audience. He is breaking taboos in a quirky way which is acceptable to everyone. Everyone wants to watch a film which is light-hearted, clean, family watch and also sends a message. Ayushmann is delivering that. He is the new box office draw.”

Now if Bala will be another hit in Ayushmann’s filmography or not will be known soon
Ayushmann Khurrana already has two hits this year. His film Article 15 earned Rs 65.45 crore and Dream Girl ended its run at the ticket counters with a total collection of Rs 142.26 crore. Last year, he delivered hits in Sreeram Raghavan’s Andhadhun (Rs 74.59 crore) and Amit Sharma’s Badhaai Ho (Rs 137.61 crore
